I worked under supervision of designers to generate furniture selections for clients. I would analyze client needs and preferences to determine project goals, objectives, and design solutions. This can include identifying the best materials for surfaces and furnishings based on price and availability, and conducting research on design concepts in order to create functional designs that are appropriate for the client’s lifestyle and taste. I created visual presentations to demonstrate design concepts. I managed store front customer activity as well as showroom design and organization. I experienced manufacturer/distributor relationships, and kept detail oriented communication of orders and updates.

I was involved in the creation of projects with adherence to building codes. I was responsible for generating the layout, lighting, color, material, and furniture for various projects. I gained experience drawing floor plans, sections and elevations in AutoCad. I learned to work with clients, designers, architects, contractors, and electrical mechanics. In addition, I gathered material boards, created presentations, and helped facilitate client meetings. From this, I now have experience in product sourcing, ordering samples, interpreting customer needs, research, visiting suppliers, and project installations.

2019 Debutante of the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild

I was awarded an invitation to be presented as a 2019 Debutante by the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild. We volunteered by cleaning and servicing children's violins that the Huntsville Symphony Orchestra Guild provides to schools so that children will get the opportunity to learn a new skill of music. We attended multiple social events to meet current members. I was able to attend the 2019 Debutante Ball as a featured guest to celebrate as a woman of society.

Kappa Delta Sorority

I joined Kappa Delta Sorority at Arizona State University. Within this organization I have held various appointed officer positions such as; T-Shirt Chair, Content Creator, and I served on the wellness committee. I have spent much of my time volunteering my time to Girl Scouts of America, while volunteering my fundraised money to PCAA (Prevent Child Abuse America).


Junior Grace Club

I was elected a position in the Junior Grace Club. We facilitated volunteering opportunities for members, attended meetings every week to discuss business, projects, and volunteering opportunities including serving the Manna House and Boys and Girls Club in Huntsville, Alabama. We would make Valentine gift bags to hand out at the Manna House. We also organized an annual Easter egg hunt for the Boys and Girls Club that included hand stuffing hundreds of plastic Easter eggs for the event. I hope that we were able to act as kind, smart, driven roll models for those around us. We also would write letters of gratitude to soldiers who might not get to be with their families on holidays. Led by the Junior League of Huntsville we were able to participate a parade. We also planned, decorated, and organized a ball where we could celebrate the accomplishments of the Junior Grace Club and The Junior League of Huntsville.


Victorian Cotillion Club

I was invited to participate in the Victorian Cotillion by the Gothic Guild. I was able to learn skills and expectations of a proper woman of society. I learned how to formally write letters, formally introduce people, skills of fine dinning, the art of dance (ballroom dancing/waltz), skills of how to respectfully, present and carry myself with grace and pride, along with other appropriate manners. I was able to attend a formal ball to celebrate the accomplishments of my peers and the Gothic Guild.
