Living in a tree house does not necessarily have to be more costly; in fact, embracing minimalism can bring greater happiness to everyone involved. By inspiring play and nurturing imagination, we have the opportunity to redefine the concept of home. Instead of overpowering the land, let us draw inspiration from the natural world to inform our designs. Through creating memorable experiences, we can forge a deeper connection with nature and bring people closer to its wonders.
Production Design
I am drawn to set design due to its boundless creative potential and unconventional design opportunities. Unlike other forms of design, set design allows for imaginative settings that need not adhere to reality. Whether it's envisioning a futuristic world, a historical era, or an alternate dimension, the possibilities are endless. Throughout my life, I have held a deep admiration for the art of film. My passion extends beyond mere appreciation, as I thoroughly enjoy the processes of editing, cinematography, music composition, storytelling, and the profound connection and energy that can be shared through these mediums.
EARTHSHIP BIOTECTURE
Earthships embody a comprehensive and sustainable way of living, integrating environmentally conscious design, renewable energy systems, water conservation, and waste management. These structures offer a sense of liberation, as individuals can truly thrive once their basic needs are fulfilled. They present a compelling alternative to conventional housing, fostering a harmonious and regenerative connection with the environment. Moreover, the design process of an earthship encourages artistic freedom by transcending the constraints imposed by traditional neighborhoods. Designers have the opportunity to transform discarded materials into valuable resources and use organic forms to fashion captivating living artworks.
CHILDREN’S BOOK
I am fascinated by the intention that goes into Spoken word. My experience crafting visual albums has increased my desire to inspire young minds and foster their love for storytelling. I believe in the transformative power of art. Children represent the purest form of life - untouched by societal constraints. They embody authenticity, imagination, and boundless dreams. By creating a children's book, I aim to tap into their innate creativity and provide them with the most powerful knowledge I've learned accompanied by whimsical illustrations.
RESIDENTIAL HISTORIC PRESERVATION
I aspire to undertake my own historic preservation project by designing a unique and unconventional home that carries the essence of a bygone era, such as an old schoolhouse, chapel, castle, or barn. My passion lies in the transformative power of turning discarded elements into cherished treasures. I am captivated by the inherent beauty that can only be woven through the threads of time. Embracing sustainability, I am driven to create a home that honors the past rather than starting anew. This endeavor presents an exciting design challenge that fuels my creativity. I yearn to craft a home meticulously tailored to meet my specific needs and desires, carefully blending the art of harmonizing the old with the new. Ideally, This project holds deep personal significance to me, as it allows me to harness my resources and transform their function, breathing new life into them. VIDEO GAME DESIGN
In the realm of video game design, I am driven by the belief that video games have the potential to offer a more immersive experience than movies, as they allow players to make choices that shape their unique journey. I am deeply fascinated by the remarkable technology that translates thoughts and ideas into captivating interactive art. My passion lies in collaborating with others as part of a team, contributing to their success by bringing their dreams to life. I would like to be responsible for general aesthetics - providing literal specifications for other’s abstract ideas. Acting as a bridge between conceptualization and accomplishment, I am eager to play a pivotal role in turning their visions into reality.
INTERACTIVE ART MUSEUM
I am passionate about creating an interactive art museum that caters to both adults and children, fostering a bond between them. While children will have access to captivating playgrounds, I believe that adults also deserve a space where they can explore and find inspiration for their own creativity. It's important to remember that the day we lose our childlike wonder is the day we truly cease to live. Taking inspiration from the interactive art exhibit "Meow Wolf," which I had the pleasure of visiting in Denver, I envision overseeing every aspect of this project, from conceptualizing the space and exhibits to their installation and the framework that encompasses them. The main objective of this interactive art museum is to create an immersive and captivating experience for visitors, blurring the boundaries between the artwork and the audience. It will provide opportunities for active participation, exploration, and even contribution to the creative journey. This approach encourages creativity, experimentation, and personal interpretation, making the museum a dynamic and inclusive platform for artistic expression.
END GOAL
My dream encompasses the following: We establish the interactive art museum, we will expand our horizons by creating merchandise and hosting enjoyable events. Our goal is to build a brand that revolves around enhancing people's lives through the power of play and appreciating beauty for its own sake. To further enrich the experience, we will create a chain of individually themed Airbnb accommodations across the country, each serving as an exclusive interactive art museum where guests can have the entire place to themselves and even spend the night. These accommodations will offer a uniquely immersive experience, surpassing the typical everyday home by embracing bold artistic concepts and enthusiastic design. They will provide an opportunity for people to explore new places and invest in themselves and their relationships. To bring this vision to life, I will personally oversee the entire process. It starts with purchasing a house that can be transformed into a remarkable interactive art piece. In keeping with our commitment to sustainability, I will utilize recycled and donated materials, upcycling used furniture, and incorporating eco-friendly practices. The project will be cost-effective, sustainable, and enjoyable to undertake. I will meticulously design every aspect, from choosing the color of the bedspread to creating engaging exhibit activities within the home, putting my artistic skills to work. Once the first location is active and ready, I will move on to acquiring the next property and repeat the process. This idea excites me because it allows me to utilize my design conception, vision, and artistic dexterity skills to their fullest potential, creating an immersive and encompassing experiential journey.
